Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the (Supreme Federal Court), ordered the federal deputy (-MG) to explain the use of cell phones during a visit to the former president (PL). He gave the former president’s lawyers 24 hours to clarify the situation.

The former president was prohibited from using social networks, including through third parties.

Bolsonaro received the parliamentarian at home shortly before being preventively arrested by decision of the case rapporteur last Saturday (22).

“In a report shown in Jornal Nacional, it was reported that, during the authorized visit, the defendant and the visitor were seen talking outside the house, at the back of the house, while the federal deputy was using his cell phone,” wrote Moraes.

Bolsonaro was placed under house arrest in August in an episode involving the parliamentarian. Moraes understood that the former president, at the time, violated the prohibition against using social media when interacting with the audience at the Bolsonarista event in a video call with Nikolas.
