Ramagem was accused by the PGR (Attorney General’s Office) of committing five crimes, but the , in a clash with the Supreme Court, decided — the one that dealt with the illicit acts that would have been committed after his graduation as a parliamentarian, in this case, those directly linked to the 8th of January.
As a result, Ramagem was tried for three criminal offenses: attempted coup d’état, abolition of the democratic rule of law and armed criminal association.
