Nuno Markl once again made himself heard in the O Homem que Mordeu o Cão space, despite being admitted to Egas Moniz Hospital after suffering a stroke. From the hospital bed and on the telephone, the communicator reassured listeners, assuring them that he was evolving positively and that he was focused on recovery.
Visibly emotional, he confessed to being more sensitive than usual, crying easily, but assured that he already feels significant improvements. He explained that he is relearning basic movements, such as walking, and that he is gradually regaining sensitivity and control in his left hand and arm, which were affected by the episode.
During the intervention, he made a point of highlighting the importance of medicine and the work of healthcare professionals, leaving a clear message about the need to trust science and avoid paying attention to irresponsible speeches that devalue medical knowledge.
The comedian also took the opportunity to express gratitude to his son, Pedro, 15 years old, highlighting the calmness and maturity with which he handled the situation. It was the young man who called 112 and calmly described everything that was happening, in an attitude that made his father proud.
With his usual good-humored tone, Markl shared details of the moment he realized something was wrong, when he was in the bathroom and lost the ability to stand up or control his body. Despite the embarrassment, he admitted that he had to put aside any sense of dignity, recognizing that many people had seen him in a highly vulnerable situation since everything happened.
Among repeated thanks to the firefighters, doctors, nurses and assistants, he also highlighted the wave of affection and support he has received, confessing that he was deeply touched by the messages of friendship that reached him from everywhere.
Before finishing his participation, he made a note of his desire to return to Manhãs da Comercial soon and also reported, ironically, the comment made by one of the firefighters who helped him, who tried to reassure the neighbors by saying that it was nothing more than a simple toothache.
