Puma and Fluminense: contract

After months of conversations, the club reached an agreement with Puma, which will sign the tricolor uniforms for five seasons, with contract valid until the end of 2030.

The first collection developed by the German brand — including the tricolor and white cloaks — is scheduled to be launched in January 2026. The new models will already be used by the boys in the São Paulo Junior Football Cup and also in the first matches of the Campeonato Carioca.

As the current relationship with Umbro only ends on December 31st, the official announcement of the partnership with Puma should only happen after the turn of the year.

The values of the agreement were not revealed.

“GE” had already reported that Fluminense was negotiating with other manufacturers. In addition to Puma, Nike also participated in meetings with the club. Other companies showed interest throughout the year, but Puma and Nike were the ones that made the most progress in negotiations.

Umbro tried to renew once again, but Fluminense’s plan, especially after participating in the Club World Cup, was to migrate to one of the biggest global brands on the market — a group of which Puma is part. In Brazil, the company already supplies sports equipment to Palmeiras, Bahia and Red Bull Bragantino.

When contacted, Fluminense chose not to comment.
