The (Supreme Federal Court) made official this Tuesday (25) the end of the process and the beginning of the sentence for those convicted of the coup plot.
The former president () must serve his sentence at the Regional Superintendency of the Federal Police in the Federal District, where he has been in preventive detention since Saturday (22). Former ministers Augusto Heleno and Paulo Sérgio Nogueira, retired generals, were taken to the Planalto Military Command.
Former Navy commander Almir Garnier Santos was sent to the Navy Radio Station in Brasília. Former minister Walter Braga Netto is already serving preventive detention in the Command of the 1st Army Division, in Rio de Janeiro.
Representative Alexandre Ramagem (PL-RJ) fled to the United States. Former minister Anderson Torres will serve his sentence in the 19th Military Police Battalion of the DF, a place known as “Papudinha”, located in the Papuda Penitentiary Complex. Former aide-de-camp Mauro Cid was sentenced to 2 years in open prison. He is prohibited from leaving the country and must report weekly to the Court in DF, among other requirements.
