Zurich – Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will currently be eligible to play in Portugal’s opening World Cup game in June. The world association (FIFA) only handed the 40-year-old a one-game ban for his elbow check on Dara O’Shea in the World Cup qualifier on November 13th in Dublin when the Portuguese lost 2-0 to Ireland. He served this ban in the 9-1 win against Armenia. A ban for two more games is now on probation.
