A survey by the Brandwatch platform states that the majority of social media users disapproved of the former president’s (), determined on Saturday (22), by the minister, of the (Supreme Federal Court).

According to digital monitoring by Brandwatch, 55% of publications from Saturday to Monday (24) criticized the arrest or defended Bolsonaro. More than 3 million mentions of the topic were recorded on social media.
Among the profiles that condemned preventive detention, 25% classified the measure as , and around 15% criticized Alexandre de Moraes.
According to the survey, 10% of users critical of the arrest stated that Bolsonaro is innocent and 7% mentioned his advanced age and health problems. Amnesty requests appeared in 5% of mentions of this group.
Monitoring showed that around 40% of users were in favor of Bolsonaro’s arrest.
Approximately 22% of this group classified the episode as a “great day”, 15% considered it a punishment for a scammer, 18% of these posts mentioned the electronic ankle bracelet, including Bolsonaro’s speech admitting that he tried to open the equipment with a “hot iron”, and 10% mentioned the way in which the former president managed the covid-19 pandemic during his government.
