The First Panel of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) will decide, in the virtual plenary, whether to confirm the arrests of the defendants at the crucial core of the coup plot to carry out their convictions.
When determining the execution of the sentences, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the process, requested an extraordinary session to submit the individual decision to the scrutiny of his colleagues.
The session will open this Tuesday, 25th, from 6 pm, and will last 24 hours. The tendency is for ministers to unanimously confirm the rapporteur’s decisions.

Ministers Cristiano Zanin, Cármen Lúcia and Flávio Dino, president of the First Panel, who scheduled the session, will participate in the trial.
This Tuesday, Moraes ordered the execution of the sentences of former president Jair Bolsonaro, deputy Alexandre Ramagem, former Navy commander Almir Garnier and former ministers Anderson Torres, Augusto Heleno, Paulo Sérgio Nogueira and Walter Braga Netto.
Bolsonaro, who was already in preventive detention, will remain at the Federal Police headquarters in Brasília. The rest were also arrested. The only one who has not yet been arrested is deputy Alexandre Ramagem, who fled to the United States. The STF must request the extradition of the deputy so that he can serve his sentence in Brazil.
