One of the biggest Netflix series, “Stranger Things” reaches its final stretch. Over the years, the characters have won fans around the world for their charisma.

The final episodes promise to conclude the journey of Onze (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Will (Noah Schnapp), almost a decade after when we first met them.

Over the course of four seasons, other characters became popular with the public. But which one is the most popular on the web? Data collected by CNN relating to last 20 years around the world through the tool Google Trendsshow which “Stranger Things” characters were most searched for on the platform.

Which of the protagonists of “Stranger Things” is most searched on Google?

According to the Google Trends platform, Eleven, represented in the graph by the color blue, was the most popular in searches based on a survey in the last five years. Steve Harrington (Joe Keery)in the graph with the color yellow, comes in second place. The top 5 is completed by Will Byers in third place (red), and Mike (green) and Dustin (purple) tied.

The least researched among the protagonists on a global average are Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), Lucas Sinclair e Jonathan Byers.

Steve Harrington still showed a peak in searches between May and June 2022, the time of the release of the fourth season. In the plot, the character became even more involved in the final fight against the Upside Down and had a romantic arc with Nancy (Natalia Dyer) explored.

The value of 100 present in the search graph represents the highest peak in popularity of a term. A value of 50 means half the popularity and a score of 0 means there was not enough data about the term.
