The vehicle of the Hungarian Anti-Terrorist Center (TEK), which was escorting Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s trip, crashed near the western Hungarian town of Zalaegerszeg on Tuesday. The rescuers took four injured people to the hospital, reports the TASR reporter in Budapest, referring to the telex.hu server.
It follows from the TEK statement that the car skidded on the wet road and hit a tree. Four people were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, the statement said.
The regional server zaol.hu specified that the accident happened on state road no. 7401 near the village of Alsoerdő. On Tuesday, Orbán attended the opening ceremony of the Flex Zala Automotive Next Gen factory in Zalaegerszeg.
