The loft on the roof of the Hotel Daniel in Graz burned


In Graz, a structure on the roof of the Hotel Daniel next to the main train station caught fire on Wednesday. The Graz professional fire department was alerted at 9:38 a.m., responded with seven emergency vehicles and 27 firefighters and was able to report the “fire out” almost 30 minutes later. The hotel staff had already evacuated the upper floors. The fire brigade attacked the flames from the inside using the staircase and from the outside using a telescopic ladder.
