The slightest changes in the public image of a political figure have always been the subject of discussion, gossip and commentary, more so when it comes to the president of the USA, whose characteristic image with orange skin color, specific hairstyle and also dyed hair could be said to be his trademark.
This is exactly what has been happening for the past few weeks. The internet has caught fire once again, as a number of social media users, as well as the media, first focused on the president’s winter stylistic choice the day after his meeting, proceeding to related clothing comparisons, while others on the occasion of this appearance seemed to notice that once again Trump appeared “unpainted” and with particularly white hair.
The clothing choice that caused a sensation
Trump appeared on the White House lawn the day after the meeting with Mamdani – during which the two men appeared to put aside the political chasm that separates them – wearing a long, heavy black coat and a burgundy scarf underneath, while his face and hair (even his eyebrows) in the photos from the appearance looked particularly white.

His winter look caught the attention of many, with photos of him being uploaded to social media alongside a photo from an earlier appearance of Mamdani wearing similar outfits, with social media users wondering if this was Trump’s attempt to copy the style of the recently elected mayor-in-waiting of New York.
In the flurry of comments and posts, others argued that Trump wasn’t trying to copy Mamdani’s style, but rather former President Barack Obama’s, while questions began about his hair color and the faded orange color of his skin.
What about his “golden” hair?
Trump did appear somewhat “whiter” than usual, but as evidenced by photos from the past few weeks, the change in his hair color and fake “tan” has been in the works for some time.

Of course, this is an issue that over the years that the president of the USA has been in the news, that is, before he even became president, has occupied the media, but also the various commentators, many times. The last relevant reports, which mainly concerned the color of his hair, were released in August, when again the president for a few weeks had made a series of appearances with their color closer to gray, than the usual “golden” he prefers.
