The minister, from the General Secretariat of the Presidency, met this Wednesday (26) with the rapporteur of the special committee in the Chamber on the regulation of work through applications.
Boulos invited him to join a working group on the topic that will be created in the coming days by his ministry and the Labor department to suggest a proposal for the sector.
The minister said he wants the commission to listen and incorporate the government’s suggestions. He also invited the president of the commission, federal deputy Joaquim Passarinho (PL-PA) to accompany the group.
The government changed its strategy to try to regulate the work of delivery people and drivers by app. The idea is to reformulate the proposal focusing on topics such as minimum value for rides and transparency in app algorithms.
