Change at the head of the International Police Agency: Frenchman Lucas Phillipe will lead Interpol

Interpol elected a new leadership at its general assembly in Marrakesh, Morocco. The president’s seat for the next four years will be occupied by the Frenchman Lucas Phillipe, who replaces Ahmad Nasser Raísí from the United Arab Emirates.

The international police agency Interpol elected the Frenchman Lucas Phillip as its new president at the general meeting in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Thursday. The General Assembly was attended by 886 delegates from 179 Interpol member states and 34 international organizations. In addition to the election of a new president, they discussed a range of topics including cybercrime, organized crime and data protection.
