The Association of Doctors Providers of Services met with the Minister of Health, but neither the new hiring model in the SNS nor the reduction in the amount paid per hour have yet been discussed in detail. However, the treasury and will not pay this month for all the hours worked by the doctors on duty.
The notice was sent by email to around 50 doctors providing services at Castelo Branco Hospital.
Just a few days before settling their accounts, they learned that this month they will not receive the full amount of the hours they worked.

The administration has already assumed that the issues are related to ongoing budget management and guaranteed, this Thursday, that the problem with late payments will be overcome and that the provision of healthcare will not be compromised.
