The EU Commission has requested additional information from Chinese online retailer Shein about the sale of child-like sex dolls and illegal weapons. The commission had sent an inquiry to Shein regarding information about the sale of illegal products, the authority said on Wednesday. The Commission therefore suspects that Shein’s business model could pose a “systemic risk to consumers across the European Union”.
