Linz – 50 new checkout points, 85 new intensive care beds and six new large-scale machines – these are the cornerstones of the “Regional Structural Plan Health 2030” for Upper Austria. The state, the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) and the social security system unanimously decided on this on Friday. Peter McDonald, chairman of the conference of social insurance providers, spoke of a “milestone” in a subsequent press conference in Linz.
