Councilor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated, in a post on social media this Thursday, the 27th, that former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) presented a “sharp crisis” and that doctors were called after persistent episodes of hiccups and reflux throughout the day. According to him, the situation would have started during the night.
“I have just received information that my father has just had another severe crisis that has been dragging on. The doctors were called this afternoon (27) due to the persistence of hiccups and refluxes that began during the night and continued throughout the day. He will not survive in the face of this injustice”, wrote the former president’s son on his profile on X (formerly Twitter).
So far, there has been no official update on the former president’s health status. THE Estadão contacted the defense and is awaiting a response.

This Thursday morning, Bolsonaro received a visit from his son Jair Renan Bolsonaro (PL), councilor of Balneário Camboriú (SC), and his wife, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro, at the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília, where he is serving time for the coup plot. She left the building without speaking to the press. Jair Renan reiterated that his father faces constant bouts of hiccups, including an episode that occurred during the early hours of the morning.
“He is fragile. He is very sad about everything that is happening,” he said. “I came to try to lift my old man’s spirits,” said Jair Renan, who took a word search book to his father.
