Federal deputies sent a manifesto to the national directory in which they warn of the risk of the party losing its registration with the (Superior Electoral Court) because of the impasse involving the command of the party in the country.

Between the end of October and the beginning of November, party bodies returned the legal command of Cidadania to Freire, a decision disregarded by Comte.
In the manifesto, parliamentarians cite the controversies generated by notary documents with signs of irregularities in internal acts since 2023, such as lack of signatures and defects in the restructuring of positions, for example.
“We, federal deputies and members of the directory elected by the 20th Party Congress, were not properly informed and certified of this reality for more than two years, and were even misled when asked to subscribe to acts that suffer from this error”, indicates the note.
“The omission of those who were aware of the fact compromised the internal functioning of the party and created real risks to its regularity, institutional credibility, the exercise of the Party Fund and the accountability of 2025”, continues the text.
The parliamentarians also state that calls and communications from the national directory began to be made “without due official communication to the federal bench, that is, irregularly”.
“The bench considers it unacceptable that, on the eve of the end of the year and the annual reporting to the TSE, the party continues to operate outside of legality, especially when administrative acts of the treasury, legally responsible before the Electoral Court, continue to be disregarded”, the note continues.
The deputies say that they will not recognize any act or deliberation produced by bodies that are not included in the current notary certificate and that they will support the necessary legal measures to reestablish the leadership elected by the 20th Party Congress and “interrupt any attempt to maintain internal structures without legal validity”.
