Corinthians and Cruzeiro reached an agreement on the impasse involving the semi-final games of the Copa do Brasil. The clubs have defined that the visiting fans, in each match, will have the right to 5% of tickets corresponding to the maximum capacity of the stadiums. The information was initially released by the “UOL” portal and confirmed by Itatiaia.
In recent days, the boards of both teams discussed the number of tickets allocated to visiting fans at Mineirão and Neo Química Arena. Osmar Stábile, president of , defended that the division followed a proportional criterion, using 5.2% of stadium capacity as a reference.
On the Cruzeiro side, according to the report from Itatiaiathe celestial board demonstrated some resistance to this number. This is because, as the Mineirão has a greater capacity than the Neo Química Arena, Belo Horizonte would receive a greater number of Corinthians fans compared to the Cruzeiro fans who would go to São Paulo.
However, after further conversations between the clubs, the 5% percentage prevailed. Thus, Mineirão should receive around 3,100 black and white fans, while the Arena should have approximately 2,400 fans.
