The ministers (Cities) and (Management) signed on Thursday afternoon (27) an ordinance for 51 municipalities in 22 states in the country, with an estimated investment of R$200 million, according to the Secretary of Peripheries, Guilherme Simões.
The will finance the land regularization of properties and the SPU (Union Heritage Secretariat), of the Ministry of Management, will indicate the areas of the Union that will be ceded to municipalities or state governments for this action.
Next, municipalities and states will send proposals that will be financed by the Ministry of Cities for regularization. “Families will not need to pay anything, they will have their situation consolidated, security of where they live”, says Simões.
“I think it’s an important policy. It’s the first time this has happened in history, a selection for land regularization of Union areas. It’s been a requirement of President Lula for our teams for a long time”, he continues.
