The will announce this Friday (28) the delivery of more than 600 pieces of equipment for freezing and storing food. With this, the objective of the portfolio is to increase storage capacity by 30%, in addition to producing more blood-derived medicines and reducing external dependence.
The action is part of the Agora Tem Especialistas program and involves an investment of R$116 million from Novo PAC.
Plasma is essential for the manufacture of blood products used in hemophilia, immunological diseases and major surgeries. The investment also aims to ensure that the new Hemobrás factory, in the city of Goiana, Zona da Mata Norte in Pernambuco, operates at full capacity, processing up to 500 thousand liters per year.
