It was about a week ago, last Thursday, November 20th, that Nuno Markl suffered a stroke. After a few days admitted to Hospital São Francisco Xavier, the comedian was transferred to Egas Moniz, where he has been recovering.
Through his Instagram account, the host of ‘The Man Who Bit the Dog’ has been sharing with his fans, on a daily basis, what these days have been like and on Thursday night (27), he decided to summarize his day.
After revealing that he received “homemade cakes” made by fado singer Gisela João and also a personalized t-shirt by António Raminhos, Nuno Markl shared the ‘caricatured’ moment he experienced with Catarina Furtado, who also visited him.
“My 35-year friendship with Catarina Furtado took a new step, when, in the middle of the warm conversation we were catching up on, I announced to her: “Catarina, I’m sorry, but I think the laxative I took in the morning will take effect NOW”…”realized.
The comedian then explained how everything happened after his ‘alert’, leaving full praise for his friend and presenter: “Always quick and incredible, Catarina ran to get assistants and waited while the magic happened in the bathroom. We then resumed the conversation for a few more hours, I was frankly happier – due to the new lightness and for having a friend as spectacular as our television star. We laughed about it, we were moved by memories and by my entire adventure, now celebrating a week since the most terrifying day of my life, but which would end up in one of its happiest seasons. ❤️🥲 Good night, guys – and thanks for everything!”it ended.
