Five coralsof two different species, were seized by the Federal Revenue at Fortaleza International Airport (CE), last Wednesday (26). The corals were in an order sent from Florianópolis (SC) and, as they are from the Pacific Ocean, there is suspicion of irregular introduction into the countryaccording to the Revenue.

The material was sent to Ibama (Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources), which will be responsible for the administrative investigation and, if necessary, for holding those involved criminally liable.
