A fitness trainer in , suffered a fatal heart attack after taking part in a challenge as he tried to gain over 22kg in a short period of time, then lose it in order to promote his new weight loss programme.

Dmitry Nuyanzin, a fitness trainer and influencer from the Russian city of Orenburg, spent weeks eating 10,000 calories a day in an attempt to gain over 22 kilograms. His plan was to lose the weight afterward by sticking to his own fitness regimen, as reported by .

For the past few days, Nuyanjin had been feeling unwell and had canceled training, planning to see a doctor. He was eventually found unconscious at home, with relatives reporting that his heart stopped while he was sleeping.

His daily menu included sweets and cakes for breakfast, large amounts of pasta and mayonnaise for lunch, pizzas and burgers for dinner, while in between he consumed unhealthy snacks such as potato chips.
