The 18-year-old girl’s body washed up on Leirosa beach, almost 200 km from the last place where she was seen. Mom has already confirmed.

The Judiciary Police confirmed that the body of Carolina Torres appeared on a beach.

The 18-year-old – known as Young people – had on the day October 9th. She was last seen that day, in Praça São João Batista, in Almada.

Carolina, a student, was going to meet a friend, but never reached her destination, according to an appeal published by her mother on social media at the time.

The cell phone was on until the night after the disappearance; the calls were never answered.

More than a month later, on November 16th, it appeared on Leirosa beach (Figueira da Foz) a body of one in “high state of decomposition” The police have now confirmed what Carolina’s body actually was.

There were already signs of this connection, as the body had tattoos similar to Carolina’s. After complex laboratory tests, it was confirmed.

Therefore, the teenager appeared practically 200 kilometers away from the last place where she was seen alive – it is the distance between Praia da Leirosa (Figueira da Foz) and Praça São João Batista (Almada).

This Friday, the mother, Cristiana Gaspar, also confirmed the death of his daughter: “My daughter, my Carolina is no longer in this world”.
