On Krížna Street in Bratislava on Friday shortly before 05:00 a.m. they reported an explosion in an abandoned building. Firefighters discovered a small fire on the spot, which they extinguished. According to findings, there was a gas leak in the room. No one was injured in the incident. This was confirmed for TASR by the spokesman of the Bratislava Regional Fire Brigade, Štefan Koči.
“When the firefighters arrived at the scene, in the part of the building where homeless people were staying, there was a small fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire in a short time. At the same time, the intervening firefighters found out that there was a gas leak in the room, which they stopped. Subsequently, they carried out control measurements of the air with a negative result,” explained Koči.
