The president of the ,, announced this Thursday (27) the death of Sarah Beckstrom, one of the two members of the National Guard shot yesterday near the, and said that the other injured young soldier continues “fighting for his life”.
“Sarah Beckstrom of West Virginia […] a very respected, young and beautiful person, who began his service in June 2023, outstanding in all aspects, has just left us. He is no longer with us”, said the Republican president during a televised speech. “The other young man is fighting for his life. It’s very bad,” Trump said.
