A quick snack for the holiday table. Matured ham rolls

Matured ham is a product worth having on hand when preparing a treat for guests. Perfect for preparing delicious dishes rolls stuffed with cream filling. You can make it based on spinach fried with garlic, which goes perfectly with delicate ricotta cheese. The snack will be finished with a bit of red caviar. You can make this appetizer for a St. Andrew’s Day or Christmas party.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 12 slices of ripening ham,
  • 250 g of ricotta cheese,
  • 200 g spinach,
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic,
  • salt, pepper (to taste),
  • 3-4 teaspoons of red caviar (for decoration),
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Rinse the spinach, chop it and fry it in olive oil. Fry until the leaves wilt. At the end of frying, add pressed garlic to the pan. Season the spinach to taste with salt and pepper.

Mix the cooled spinach with the ricotta. If you want, add additional seasoning to the resulting stuffing.

Place the ham slices on a board. Spread each slice with cheese and spinach and roll into a roll. Cut the finished rolls in half with a sharp knife – to get twice as many rolls.

Place the ripened ham rolls on a platter. Garnish with caviar.
