Firefighters are responding to a fire in an apartment in Sídliska Juh in Vranov nad Topľou, in which one person lost his life. TASR was informed about this by the operations center of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) in Prešov.
Six members of the HaZZ with three pieces of firefighting equipment intervene on the spot. The information about the death was also confirmed for TASR by Prešov regional police spokeswoman Jana Ligdayová. “The police are on the scene,” she said, adding that they have not yet registered injuries to other persons.
