It helps strengthen the body’s immunity, but is also a strong antioxidant and takes part in the synthesis of collagen. Parsley root also provides vitamins A, K and folic acid. It is an important source of minerals such as: potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and iron. Parsley, among others:

  • lowers blood pressure, protecting against hypertension,
  • strengthens bones,
  • supports digestion, neutralizes flatulence,
  • relieves symptoms associated with rheumatism.

Also noteworthy are the diuretic properties of parsley root, which help remove toxins from the body faster. It is also recommended for people with gout and kidney diseases.

Parsley root provides a significant amount of soluble fiber. This keeps you full for a long time and prevents you from reaching for snacks between meals. It also improves digestion and is low-calorie. These properties especially will be appreciated by people on a slimming diet.

  • root parsley – 2 medium-sized pieces,
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive or rapeseed oil,
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic,
  • spices: ground pepper, thyme or rosemary.

Preparation:

  1. Peel the parsley and cut into even pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil or oil with spices, add pressed garlic. Mix everything together.
  3. Coat the parsley pieces in oil with spices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake the fries in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 25-20 minutes. Halfway through, shake the tray or turn the fries over so that they bake evenly.
