Research carried out with 542 professionals in the RIG (Institutional and Governmental Relations) sector, popularly, shows that 34.7% earn more than R$50 thousand.

Another 22.4% earn between R$35 thousand and R$49.9 thousand, 25% receive a salary between R$25 thousand and R$34.9 thousand and 17.9% have monthly salaries below R$25 thousand.

The data was compiled by the recently launched Anuário Origem Latam 2025, based on a questionnaire carried out with professionals from companies, sectoral and third sector entities, consultancies and law firms.

“The research demonstrates the growing strategic importance of the RIG area, which is reflected in higher salaries and proximity to the top management of organizations, as in many cases, the RIG professional reports directly to the CEO or international executives”, says Rodrigo Navarro, responsible for the publication.

The yearbook says that 47.5% of sector professionals in leadership positions are women. Another conclusion is that the demand for services has grown a lot in sectors such as health, technology, energy, agribusiness, logistics and infrastructure.

The professionals were also asked about the regulation of the profession, which has been the subject of one for more than 20 years.

The majority say they are in favor of creating a public register for those working in the sector. The measure is supported by 79.4% of professionals from sectoral entities, 72.1% of professionals from companies and 66.6% from consultancies.
