Palmeiras lineup: see likely team for the Libertadores final

Palmeiras faces Flamengo this Saturday (29), in the Copa Libertadores final, and coach Abel Ferreira has a possible lineup in mind.

In a press conference held this Friday (28), the coach avoided confirming the starting lineup, but stated that he should not promote major changes.

The technical committee developed special logistics with 11 players, who are prepared specifically for the continental decision. Palmeiras’ probable lineup to face Flamengo includes: Carlos Miguel; Khellven, Gustavo Gómez, Murilo and Piquerez; Bruno Fuchs, Andreas Pereira, Raphael Veiga and Allan; Flaco López and Vitor Roque.

The biggest doubts between the respective players are around Khellven and Veiga. The right-back did not start in the semi-final against LDU, and the midfielder has usually entered the second half of matches this season.

According to Abel Ferreira himself, the big surprise of the match may be more related to the positioning of the athletes than to the names.

Injured, Weverton, Lucas Evangelista and Paulinho should not play. The goalkeeper is the one who has the most chances of at least going to the bench.

The Libertadores final between Palmeiras and Flamengo will take place this Saturday (29), at 6pm (Brasília time), at the Monumental Stadium in Lima, Peru.
