According to the company, there was a 372% increase in searches for 65′ and 75′ TVs, projectors and soundbars in relation to Black Friday 2022, the year of the last men’s world cup.
In the first 12 hours of sales this Friday, the best-selling products, in monetary value, included televisions, cell phones, notebooks, refrigerators and washing machines.

“Black Friday has established itself as the most important date in retail, with e-commerce gaining strength every year. We noticed a clear change in behavior, with consumers becoming more planned: 81% of them planned their purchase, according to our Consumer Panorama survey. The result of this is the anticipation of TV purchases, seven months before the next major world football championship”, he assessed. Roberta Donato, vice-president of Mercado Livre.
Today, at peak time, Mercado Livre registered 500 thousand packages in its Distribution Centers.
