Currently, Pedro is limited to physical therapy. The thigh injury prevents any greater effort, and even simple exercises with elastic bands cause discomfort, according to an investigation carried out by ESPN.
The club chose to take him on the trip to keep him integrated into the squad and create a certain mystery. Like him, Gonzalo Plata, suspended, also traveled, even though he was unable to take the field.
In the case of the title this Saturday and the Intercontinental dispute starting on December 10th, Pedro will also remain out. The expectation is to return only in the 2026 pre-season.

Léo Ortiz is doubtful for this Saturday. The defender is treating a ligament strain in his right ankle, suffered on October 19, in the victory over Palmeiras in the Brasileirão. Despite the problem, he tried to be on the field in the semi-final against Racing-ARG, undergoing infiltration to endure the pain.
The coaching staff still hoped to use him for a few minutes in the duel against Atlético-MG, last Tuesday (25/11), but the defender was not even listed for the match. The club understood that the risk was high and decided to preserve it.
Even so, Ortiz went to Lima, where he underwent intensive treatment, aiming to be at least on the bench this Saturday.
