“No power should judge itself above another, and no one has a monopoly on reason. Nor can the attempt to demoralize others for the purpose of self-promotion be allowed, especially on grounds that do not correspond to reality,” he said.
“If the prerogative of the President of the Republic to nominate a minister to the STF is certain, so is the prerogative of the Senate to choose, approving or rejecting the name. And it is essential that, in this process, the Powers respect each other and that each one fulfills their role in accordance with constitutional and regulatory norms”, he said.
