People are increasingly engaged with their jobs, with one in five workers no world is declaring fully engaged with their work activities, according to reports from ADP Research.
The research, carried out with almost 38 thousand participants from 34 different countries, places the Brazil as the third with the highest engagement rate on the planet: 27% with work.
The growth of this data is a global trend, according to Nela Richardson, chief economist at ADP.
“Our research shows a increase of five percentage points in the index of workers who reported feeling fully engaged, since the pandemic, going from 14% in 2020 to 19% in 2025″, he says.
Working in person or remotely has In Brazil, the group with the highest percentage of positive responses in relation to engagement with work was those who work in a hybrid way (32% of them).
One of the arguments identified by the research is that the people’s power to choose the work model brings greater engagement, just as the desire for a partial return to offices on the part of employers and workers has grown.
However, according to numbers identified by ADP, a number that is growing on a global scale, at 56%, and will increase by two percentage points in 2025.
Among people who work in person, data from People at Work highlights that glimpse the quality of the group that they integrate contributes to engagement.
90% of respondents to this model are part of teams. Of these, 52% of those who consider being part of a high-performance team feel fully engaged, while only 10% of those who do not see this scenario also assess total engagement with work.
