E-commerce revenue reaches R$4.76 billion on Black Friday, says research

A Black Friday 2025, a date awaited by retailers and consumers, did not disappoint online commerce this Friday (28).

The day was R$4.76 billion, earnings 11.2% higher compared to last year, according to data from the Black Friday Hora Hora Platform from Confi Neotrust, a market intelligence company that monitors Brazilian e-commerce.

The categories that earned the most on Friday were TVs, with billing R$443.2 million, followed by smartphones (R$ 388.7 million) e refrigerators/refrigerators (R$ 273.2 million).

Of the last five editions recorded by the historical series, this year’s date is second only to Black Friday in 2021when e-commerce earned R$5.13 billion, driven by social isolation and the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“If 2021 was an anomalous peak driven by isolation, 2025 establishes one in times of normality, delivering the strongest week in the sector’s recent history”, says Léo Homrich Bicalho, Head of Business at Confi Neotrust, highlighting the distribution of consumption during the week and month of promotions.

“The anticipation of purchases throughout the month of November allowed consumers to divide their budget intelligently: guaranteeing recurring and fashionable items throughout the week (generating volume) and reserving the main capital for ‘desire purchases’ (TVs and White Goods) on the official Friday”, he adds.

The statement reflects the increase in the average ticket during the previous days, which, however, spent per operation was below 2024, when the average ticket was R$634.40.
