Home defeat for Crystal Palace despite leading against Manchester United


London – Crystal Palace suffered a home defeat in the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon. Coach Oliver Glasner’s team lost 2-1 to Manchester United despite leading 1-0 at half-time. Jean-Philippe Mateta had put the hosts in front with a penalty kick (36′), but Joshua Zirkzee (54′) and Mason Mount (63′) turned the game around for United after the break. The Red Devils moved past Palace, now seventh, into sixth place in the table.
