“On this November 30th, the date on which National Evangelical Day is celebrated, I celebrate the structuring and essential presence of evangelical women in their communities and spaces of faith.

“Women are powerful agents of transformation in all spaces in which they operate and, throughout this year, in the various meetings I had with evangelical women in different regions of the country, I saw up close their strength and unity in the fight against inequalities.

“This date, institutionalized by President Lula in 2010, recognizes the performance, legacy and importance of evangelical communities for Brazilian society, highlighting values such as solidarity, the appreciation of human dignity and care for others, fundamental principles for building a more egalitarian world.

“The union between women generates strength so that families, whether united by faith, blood or love, move forward and achieve their purposes. On this National Evangelical Day, I recognize the power of evangelical women and the real impact they have on their communities. Their leading role illuminates paths, drives transformation and strengthens, day after day, the lives of countless Brazilian families.”
