Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok failed as chairman of the Hlas-SD party. Deputy Ján Ferenčák (Voice-SD) stated this on the social network in response to the minister’s statement.
“When you don’t have arguments, you fail as a party leader… So you make up stories about my ‘mental connection’ to Progressive Slovakia,” said Ferenčák. He added that he has been faithful to the party’s values and ideals since the beginning and will continue to be so.
Šutaj Eštok stated in the Saturday (November 29) talk show that Ferenčák has not been a mental part of the coalition for about a year. He reserved the right to his own vote on important laws. “He’s probably closer to the PS today than to this coalition,” he pointed out.
