The president of , , stated this Saturday (30) that he is testing the viability of the name of federal deputy Rosana Valle (PL-SP) for the elections in São Paulo next year.
Without (PL-SP) and (PL-SP) — the two PL vote winners in the state in 2022 —, the party is trying to look for other names capable of winning one of the Senate seats and attracting votes for the .
“I want to congratulate Rosana Valle, who is now also testing Rosana’s name to be a candidate for senator in São Paulo,” said Valdemar during a PL Mulher event in Mogi das Cruzes (SP), where the party is chaired by his wife, Dana Costa.
Of the four federal deputies elected by PL in São Paulo in the last election, one is in prison (Carla); in the United States (Eduardo); and two left the party (Ricardo Salles joined Novo and Guilherme Derrite).
Rosana is president of PL Mulher in the state of São Paulo and was re-elected in 2022 with the sixth highest vote in PL São Paulo, behind Pastor Marco Feliciano, who came in fifth.
She did last year, but lost to Mayor Rogério Santos (Republicans). In 2022, she was considered to be vice-president of Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) in the dispute for the São Paulo government, but ended up being passed over by Felicio Ramuth (PSD).
