
Three young people, aged 22, 23 and 25, died this morning after leaving the road and the vehicle in which they were traveling overturned several times on the N-634, in the municipality of Cabezón de la Sal (Cantabria).
As reported by the Government Delegation in Cantabria, for reasons that are being investigated, at around 0:30, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went up a small island. After that, the car turned several times until it stopped in the parking lot of a nearby restaurant. The accident took place at kilometer 244.9 of the N-634, before the Virgen de la Peña bridge.
The deceased were residents of Cabezón de la Sal, Casar de Periedo and Virgen de la Peña. At the scene of the accident, members of the Traffic Sector of the Civil Guard, paramedics from 061 and also from the regional firefighters of 112 intervened, who had to free the young man who was in the back of the vehicle.
