Russia hit Kiev with drones, killing one person and injuring eleven. The attack worsened the already bad situation after the previous attacks.
One person was killed and eleven other people were injured in a Russian drone attack on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital. The governor of the Kyiv region, Mykola Kalashnyk, announced this on the Telegram social network on Sunday, saying that rescuers are evacuating the residents of the high-rise building and trying to put out the fire, TASR writes, according to the AFP news agency.
“Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack on Vyshhorod, one person was killed and eleven people were injured. Among them is a child,” Kalashnyk wrote. It is the latest attack after three people were killed in a drone and missile attack on Friday night, leaving hundreds of thousands without electricity across Ukraine.
They negotiate in the US
A team of Ukrainian negotiators traveled to the United States on Saturday for negotiations on the American peace plan to end the war with Russia. Washington’s original plan to end the war in Ukraine – drawn up without consulting its European allies – would have seen Kiev withdraw from its eastern Donetsk region and the United States would de facto recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the annexed Crimean peninsula as Russian.
Washington reduced its original plan after criticism from Kiev and Europe, its current content remains unclear, AFP reminds. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Monday.
