Globo made an unusual change to the schedule this Saturday (29), modifying the display of most soap operas. The change appeared to make room for special content from the Libertadores grand final, between Palmeiras and Flamengo, which is being broadcast by the Rio broadcaster.
The change affected the afternoon slot. “Caldeirão com Mion” started earlier than usual. The changes also suspend the second edition of local news programs that usually air on Saturdays.
Will there be a soap opera on Globo today (11/29)?
Globo is fully dedicating the period from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm to broadcast the event. With this track dedicated to football, the entire schedule had to be reorganized, meaning that three of the four soap operas will no longer be shown this Saturday.
“Caldeirão” was brought forward to 2:10 pm, occupying the space reserved for the special edition of the soap opera “Terra Nostra”. The soap operas at 6pm and 7pm, “Êta Mundo Melhor!” and “Dona de Mim”, respectively, will not be shown.
On the other hand, “Três Graças” remains the only guaranteed soap opera on this Saturday’s schedule. The nighttime production will not change and will be shown at its usual time.
