Next bad news for Vienna Austria: Manprit Sarkaria tore a cruciate ligament during the home game in the Bundesliga against WSG Tirol. The collateral ligament and meniscus were also slightly affected, as Austria announced on Monday morning. The 29-year-old will undergo surgery soon and will be out for the rest of the season. Sarkaria was hit in the foot by Benjamin Böckle in the 0-0 draw in the 64th minute. He has scored three goals and assisted three so far this season.
