Botafogo and Corinthians drew 2-2 this Sunday (30), in a match valid for the third to last round of the Brasileirão. After Glorioso looked for a comeback, Timão left everything the same on the scoreboard after a goal with a very controversial start.

In Gustavo Henrique’s goal, Corinthians’ second, Raniele received the ball practically on the baseline, turned his body and crossed to complete the play.

Part of the ball appeared to cross the end line before the pass, which generated immediate complaints from Botafogo players. The scene was shown on the big screen at Neo Química Arena.

Despite the objection, the video referee analyzed the move and confirmed the goal, understanding that the ball did not come out completely.

How was Corinthians x Botafogo

Corinthians opened the scoring with Raniele, in the first half. Botafogo came back different for the second stage and managed to turn things around, with goals from Cuiabano and Jordan Barrera. When it seemed that the three points would go to the Rio team, Gustavo Henrique took advantage of the opportunity and left everything the same.
