Poplamuchy costs from about 6 to 7 euros, depending on the flavor. You can also find boiled corn at the stalls on Svätopluk Square, an ear of corn costs three euros. The menu also includes lox. The city prepared cultural events
The motif of this year’s Christmas in Nitra is bells. The four historic Nitrian bells will become part of the entire festive period. The bell ringing was also accompanied by the symbolic opening of the Christmas town during the first Sunday of Advent on November 30. On this day, the Bishop of Nitra, Viliam Judák, consecrated a wreath at the Nitra Castle, and then a procession of light descended from the castle to the city.
From Monday, December 1, cultural events will take place on the square every day. The city prepared concerts, theater performances, creative workshops, markets, charity events. On Sunday, December 7, Mikuláš will come to Svätopluk Square with his entourage. His arrival will be connected with the theater performance of Karol Spišák’s Old Theater The Nutcracker and Mikuláš.
