Dr. Javier Milei
S/D

“I have the honor of addressing Your Excellency to present my resignation from the position of Minister of National Security, with effect from December 1, 2025.

“Two years ago, Your Excellency entrusted me with the mission of leading the Nation’s Security with a clear mandate: take care of Argentines, take care of those who protect us, face crime with determination and restore order in the streets. This responsibility marked each of the actions we carried out.

“I deeply appreciate the trust you placed in me to lead a strategic area and the support of the entire team that accompanied me in every operation, every decision and every battle we faced together for the country.

“On December 10th, I will take over as Senator of the Nation, where I will continue to defend with the same conviction the values we share and the reforms that the country needs and that Your Excellency leads: strong institutions, law, order and a country where Argentines can live well and progress in freedom.

“Finally, I wish the future Minister, Mg. Alejandra Monteoliva, every success. She has accompanied me during these years, and if there is anyone capable of continuing the doctrine that guarantees order in the country today, it is her. Her capacity, experience and commitment will be fundamental to deepen the path we have begun and consolidate a firm, serious and effective security policy.

“I reiterate my greatest pride and gratitude for your trust.

“I greet Your Excellency with my most distinguished consideration.”
