Bern – After rejecting an inheritance tax in a Swiss referendum, billionaire Alfred Gantner is calling for a higher wealth tax for the super-rich. “We need progressive taxation of wealth,” said the co-founder of the financial investor Partners Group, according to the “Tamedia” newspapers. “It can’t be that a few people in this country have a lot of wealth and other people don’t know how to pay their health insurance premiums and their rent.”
